732 of the largest corporations in Australia paid NO tax in the financial year of 2015/2016 costing Australia $13.4 Billion. The top 10 offending corporations are listed in the attached media release, Members will be interested to see No:9 on the list just happens to be Australia Post.
Members should rightly feel very aggrieved and upset that the current Liberal Federal Government forced their workplace bargaining policy upon EBA9 negations capping Members pay rises at 2% but have laws in place that allow the organisation to get off scot free when it comes to paying tax—WHAT A DISGRACE.

A recent audit of Membership numbers for the last 7 years has just been completed, as a consequence of this audit numbers have been adjusted for the financial years 2010, 2011, 2016, the attached documentation provides the new numbers along with the advice to the Registered Organisations Commission.
